On Thursday August 20th the NIU Men’s Ice Hockey Team helped new students move into their dorm rooms. The team helped at the various dorms helping the new students move in all of their belongings. In the process the players also handed out 2009-2010 season pocket schedules. The team received many warm welcomes from incoming freshmen and their fellow Huskies of TEAM NIU.

On Friday, August 21st the team also represented themselves at Friday Fest. Many other organizations on campus, including clubs, fraternities and sororities, and varsity sports were on hand to hand out information and speak with any new students possibly interested in their organization. NIU Mens Ice Hockey table consisted of game programs, pocket schedules, and tryout information.
