Huskies 12 Alumni 4

The Alumni Game started at 5 pm and included 16 total tallied goals. The new NIU Huskies came out shooting and scored their first goal at 17:40 with a pass from Ryne Gerstner to Darc Folliard and finally to Jake Schubinski who tucked it home. In the first period the Huskies tallied up 3 goals to the Alumni's one goal.

By the middle of the second period the score was 5-1 and both teams were refreshed with new goaltenders. Unfortunately for the Alumni's, that didn't stop the Huskies from continuing their scoring spree. The second period would be the highest scoring period for the Huskies with 6 goals from Moore (#11) at 19:27, Folliard (#5) at 16:12, Mutton (#15) at 5:33, Kalanges(#16) at 5:10, Moore (#11) at 3:13, and Allen (#97) at :27.

The third period stared with a fresh ice surface and a fresh looking Alumni team who scored two goals which made it their highest scoring period. However, the Huskies answered back with a total of 3 goals that period. The final score ended up being 12 to 4 with a Huskies win.
