The NIU Huskies Hockey Club is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, but not the e-mail address.

With respect to cookies: A cookie is a text file that is stored on a user's hard drive. It contains no personally identifiable information.

We use cookies to store visitors preferences, customize Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends and to track traffic on our website.

With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. All ads on our website are completely handled by us.

Use of personal information: Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers, email address or other personal information on-line will only receive telephone or e-mail contact from the NIU Huskies Hockey Club. We do not sell or share your information with any other club, organization or business.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them, communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries), contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them, a description of information that we maintain about them.

With respect to security: When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial information, we redirect visitors to a secure server. We currently only use secure servers with our Online Store because this is the only transaction process that we have that involves the sharing of sensitive data.

When submitting information through standard contact forms on the website we use ASP.NET to safely transmit that information. While this method is not as secure as the method used in our Online Shop, it offers better security than most contact forms.
